Sustainable housing
Quantum (made up of East Midlands Housing, Derwent Living and Futures Housing Group, together with a number of partner members) is seeking a number of constructors/developers to deliver small new build and refurbishment schemes. At present the typical composition of projects is 90% new build and 10% refurbishment work.
Quantum already has a constructors/developers framework in place for the majority of the development programme. Companies already awarded a place on the existing framework do not need to apply for this framework, as this is designed to supplement, not replace, the main framework.
The framework agreement is for four years and has an estimated total value of approximately £20,000,000. Please note this estimate is based on currently available information and is provided in good faith. Quantum is committed to providing affordable, sustainable housing, effectively and efficiently, and to raising design standards in the East Midlands.
Specific projects will be awarded through mini-competitions to be held among framework partners. Framework partners (successful bidders) will contract directly with relevant Quantum members or other contracting authorities using the framework.
