CME Sanitary Systems has developed a new product to reduce household water consumption.
Ecoplay is its new micro greywater management system that has been created in accordance with the Code for Sustainable Homes as the UK strives towards becoming more energy efficient.
The product recycles bath and showed water to flush up to two WC’s. This makes it possible for the average household to reduce water consumption and drainage by up to 30%.
The average person in the UK currently uses approximately 130 litres of water a day but CME Sanitary systems believe this product can reduce the amount to less than 105 litres whilst still operating high specification bathroom products.
Graham Fisher, Business Development Director for Ecoplay, explained: “Ecoplay is becoming hugely popular, particularly in areas of water shortage or where developers are building to meet the higher Code levels. It has major environmental benefits, as well as helping to reduce water bills.”
