The Government plans to launch a consultation on proposed revisions to the Code for Sustainable Homes shortly which will focus on developments in zero carbon home policy, the energy efficiency standard and “developing opportunities for streamlining in the rating process”.

In a Commons written answer communities minister Ian Austin made no response to James Gray MP’s query as to whether the Code would include whole-life assessment or building type.
