The National Federation of Demolition Contractors has signed up to the Waste & Resources Action Programme voluntary agreement to halve the amount of construction waste going to landfill by 2012.

The Construction Commitments scheme to achieve this was launched by WRAP in 2008 and over 30 organisations, clients and contractors are now signed up.
