The Warm Front scheme (which began in 1991 as the Home Energy Efficiency scheme) is “currently piloting the installation of 100 air source heat pumps and 100 installations of external wall insulation for park homes. The scheme has also piloted the installation of solar thermal heating for 125 households,” DECC energy efficiency minister David Kidney has told Conservative communities spokesman Stewart Jackson.
“The cost of these installations are fully funded by the scheme, at no cost to the participating households,” he emphasised.
