BSRIA, BRE and several companies are producing design guidance on the most energy efficient design for recirculating heating and chilled water pumping systems. BSRIA is now inviting other companies to join Danfoss, Frese, Belimo, SAV UK and Grundfos who have already signed up.

The project aims to determine the most energy efficient designs and to establish guidance that encourages larger design temperature differentials in heating systems. Phase I of the project finished last year and highlighted nine factors affecting energy performance.
