Communities minister Andrew Stunell has refused to make public representations made on the axing of HIPs, regarding them as "sent in confidence."
CLG received 168 written representations from individuals and companies involved with the housing industry before the decision to suspend home information packs was announced on 21 May, and 45 further representations between 21 May and 28 May, the Liberal Democrat minister revealed in a written reply.
