The Strategic Forum for Construction’s Carbon Sub-Group has asked its Members’ Sustainability Group to develop a project-based assessment methodology for energy usage.

The Sustainability Task Group identified this as the crucial piece of work to allow organisations within the sector to assess how far then can respond to the low carbon economy challenge in project delivery.

The work will complement the Group’s other work which is a response to proposition four of the Innovation and Growth Team’s emerging findings report with members working on how a low carbon school could be constructed at little or no additional cost.
