Kingspan Group, supplier of sustainable building solutions to the construction industry, has appointed Geoff Doherty as chief financial officer.

Mr Doherty will take up his position as an executive director in January 2011 and will succeed Dermot Mulvihill as chief financial officer following Mulvihill's planned retirement later in 2011.

Mr Doherty is currently the chief financial officer of Greencore Group PLC.
