The Royal Institute of British Architects published the shortlist for the RIBA/English Partnerships Sustainability Award.   The four on the shortlist are:
* van Heyningen and Haward Architects for the RSPB Environment & Education Centre, Purfleet, Essex
* Architype for Upper Twyford Barn, Hereford
* Bucholz McEvoy Architects for the Environmental Research Institute, Cork
* ABK Architects for Cork City Council’s New Civic Offices, Cork

The overall winner will be announced as part of the RIBA Stirling Prize Dinner on Saturday 6 October.
