London mayor Ken Livingstone’s advisors have come down in favour of living roofs and walls in a technical report which will be published later this year. The Greater London Authority’s design agency, Design for London, was asked to develop a policy on living roofs as input to the further alterations of the London Plan and should be included when it is published next March. “The technical report covers the benefits of living roofs, barriers and international solutions,” said Design for London director Peter Bishop.
